Clash Coordination
Import Navisworks Report
Export a Clash Detective report from Navisworks (Report tab → Report Format: HTML Tabular → make sure Image is checked under Contents → Write Report), then upload it here - as a single .html file if the images are embedded, or a .zip if Navisworks saved them as separate linked files. Importing again for the same test replaces its clashes/ images rather than duplicating them.
Import Grid Locations
Already pushed clashes live from the desktop plugin? Grid Intersection can't be read that way - Navisworks only computes it inside the Write Report dialog itself. Export a report the same way as above and upload it here instead: existing clashes are matched by name and only their Grid Location is filled in - nothing else about them changes, and no new test is created.
Trade Performance
Groups
Tag related clashes with the same group name (from a clash's own details, or bulk-apply from Select mode below) to track a coordination problem as one unit. Click a group to filter the grid to it.

Getting Started
What each tab actually does - click one to expand it.
Dashboard
Your project's status at a glance: KPIs, a clash-density heatmap by trade, a coordination-health summary, and recent activity. This is where you land after picking a project.
Files
Trade submittals, drawings, and uploaded Navisworks (.nwc) models, all in one place for the current project. Anyone assigned to the project can view/download; uploading requires a non-Guest role.
Meetings
Generate a coordination-meeting agenda straight from open clashes, record decisions and action items as you go, then print the minutes when you're done.
Timeline
Import a construction schedule (.csv or .xlsx) and track it on a Gantt-style view - switch between Week/Month zoom, and each activity carries an Auto/Behind/At Risk status.
Clash Coordination
Every clash test imported from Navisworks lands here. Filter by status/ priority/trade, assign a clash to someone, leave comments, group related clashes, and generate a report. "Create Issue from Navisworks" (in the plugin) links a clash directly to a JAED issue that survives a re-import, even if the clash gets renumbered.
Snapshots
Viewport captures pushed live from the Navisworks plugin's "Export Viewport" action - includes any active section cut or redline markup, not just a plain screenshot.
Roles & Permissions
Every one of these is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI - a role that can't see something can't reach it by URL or a raw API call either.
Runs day-to-day coordination: import/manage clash tests, run meetings, manage the timeline, and mark a resolved clash Verified.
Same coordination access as BIM Coordinator - creating meetings, managing the timeline, and verifying clashes.
Can triage and work clashes - assign, comment, set status - but can't mark one Verified. That's reserved for whoever's actually confirming the fix in the model.
Same access as General Contractor - for a trade partner or outside consultant submitting models and working clashes, without labeling them as the GC.
Read-only, no login required. Sees the Dashboard, Files, Meetings, Timeline, Clash Coordination, and Snapshots for the sample Demo project, but can't create, edit, or upload anything.
Keyboard Shortcuts
| Ctrl/⌘ + K | Open the command palette - jump to any tab, switch project, or open a clash test by name |
| ↑ ↓ | Move the highlighted result while the command palette is open |
| Enter | Open the highlighted command-palette result, or activate whatever's currently keyboard-focused elsewhere (a list row, a clash card) |
| Esc | Close whatever's open - a modal, the command palette, or the clash image viewer |
| ← → | Previous/next clash, while viewing a clash's image |
The Navisworks Plugin
The desktop side isn't a separate export/import step - it's a dock pane inside Navisworks itself, connected live to whatever project you're working on. One account works in both places.
- JAED Connection - sign in once, link the open document to a project, and stay connected across sessions.
- Push to Website - send the live clash set to the linked project's Clash Coordination tab.
- Create Issue from Navisworks - link a clash to a web issue without leaving the 3D view, then jump straight back to it from the desktop.
- Export & Push Viewport - capture exactly what's on screen, section cuts and markups included, straight to this project's Snapshots tab.

Admin Console
Create a User Manually
Sets a temporary password directly instead of emailing an invite - works even without SMTP configured. Share the password with them yourself.
Existing Users
Invite by Email
Sends the person an email with a link to set their own username and password - nothing to share with them yourself. Needs SMTP configured first (see README.md); the form below explains if it isn't.
Pending Invites
Sent but not yet accepted - expire after 7 days.
Create an Organization
Existing Organizations
Click an organization to manage its members - a user only ever sees a project belonging to an organization they're a member of below, on top of being individually assigned to that project (see the Projects tab).
Create a Project
Existing Projects
Click a project to manage its Assigned Users - a user only ever sees a Project they're specifically assigned to below (Demo included - it's not a freebie for real accounts, only for Guest sessions), and only if they also belong to that project's Organization (see the Organizations tab).
Audit Log
Every account/project/data-management action, most recent first - who did what, when. See Services/AuditLogService.cs.
